Welcome to the Mariposa County Arts Council, Inc.

What is the Mariposa County Arts Council?

We are an involved and growing group of artists, professionals, businesses, and individuals dedicated to making the arts a vital part of Mariposa County.
The Arts Council is an incorporated not-for-profit organization, created to promote and support all forms of the cultural arts, for all ages, throughout Mariposa County.

As a liaison between the arts community and the Mariposa Board of Supervisors, the Arts Council works closely with local authorities in sponsoring and organizing ongoing and special art events.

The Arts Council is a recipient of federal, state, local and private funding and through its Board of Directors and salaried staff judiciously manages an annual budget to support its programs and the operating costs of the Council's retail gallery.
